Bobber from a Sportster: how we did it
This build started with a tired Sportster 1200 and the owner’s wish for a clean bobber with nothing extra. We stripped everything unnecessary — plastics, long fenders, stock lighting — and chose a hardtail geometry to fit the rider.
Then the frame, a short fender, a solo seat, moto bars and minimalist hidden wiring. The finish — matte black with bronze accents and hand-assembled parts. From the first sketch to the first ride took about six weeks.
