How to prep your Harley for the season: a 12-point checklist
Before the season your bike needs attention on a dozen small things. Start with the tyres: pressure, tread depth and age. Then the brakes — fluid level and colour, pad and disc wear.
Pay special attention to the battery: after winter it often goes flat, so check the charge and terminals. Change the oil and filter, inspect the chain or belt, lube the cables. Anything safety-related is best left to the shop — pre-season diagnostics are free with a follow-up repair.
