Panhead 1962: return of a legend
A 1962 Panhead came in after «half a century in a shed»: a seized engine, rusty tanks, missing wiring. The owner didn’t want a replica but an honest restoration that keeps the spirit.
We rebuilt the engine, restored the original geometry, carefully saved the chrome and repainted the tanks in a period colour. Some parts we hunted worldwide, others we made ourselves. It took about three months — and the bike rode again under its own power.
